Join me for a year-long exploration created to support you holistically as you transition into this new chapter of life.

Much like the moon, your midlife journey will have times when you wish to conceal yourself from the world and times when you seek visibility and understanding. 

You may have many questions about the transition from your child bearing years into the unknown. This course has been created with love to help you navigate the thoughts, emotions and physical symptoms that are experienced at midlife. It blends yoga and self care practices that takes you on a journey of self discovery.

Creating a Fabulous Menopause is in your hands, understanding what is happening to you during midlife, listening to what your body is telling you (your symptoms) and then taking action to support yourself is something that you can learn to do.

Are you ready to embrace the transformative journey of your menopause guided by the Moon's Cyclical Wisdom? Join me for a year-long exploration created to support you holistically as you transition into this new chapter of life.

You'll receive practical information that you can use everyday and yoga practices that you might wish to use daily or whatever you need to (all live sessions are recorded and available for you to revisit whenever you need to).

What to Expect:

  • Each month, aligning with  moon cycles, we will delve into the changes and symptoms experienced during midlife.
  • At every New Moon, you'll receive an email with insights and guidance to deepen your understanding of the month's upcoming topic.
  • Around each month’s Full Moon, we will gather for a Live Online Yoga Practice.

These sessions will fall on a Monday evening near the Full Moon (dates below). Together, we'll explore the month's theme, fostering a sense of community and empowerment.

Can't make it live? Don't worry! Sessions will be recorded for you to revisit whenever you need.

Why is this course a year long?

Menopause is a journey of many changes that takes several years, women need to be held during this process attending a one off workshop is beneficial but it can be easy to forget what you have heard and it's great to have regular reminders. Kelsey has been running in-person “Yoga for Menopause Courses and Midlife Monthly’s since 2021 and has seen how a sense of community and regular gatherings are beneficial to those she supports and now she wishes to make them available online.

Kelsey herself is in the final phase of perimenopause and she is constantly learning and growing, she knows that expecting change over a short period of time can do more harm that good and she wishes to create a container to support women on their journey of self-discovery. Kelsey has taken the topics which women more frequency seek support for and has included a couple that you might feel embarrassed to explore without prompting.

 Yoga Teacher’s are welcome to join

Whether you're a yoga teacher seeking personal growth or wish to learn something new to support the women that you teach, "13 Midlife Moons" invites you to be part of this transformative process. You can use the hours of this course (20 hours minimum) as part of your CPD for Yoga Alliance Professionals. Each New Moon you will receive a workbook that is full of information and guidance which you can use in your own teachings. Then each  Full Moon there will be a sequence that you are welcome to use in your classes. The monthly topics are an excellent way to update your knowledge and bring fresh ideas to your teaching without committing to a in depth course.

January – Mastering the Art of Self-Care:  We begin with the essentials: understanding your body, listening to its signals, and truly prioritizing your needs. This month is all about building a foundation of self-care, with tools for tuning into yourself without judgment. Embrace small, realistic changes that nurture you—creating habits that will support you throughout the year and beyond.

February – Inviting Rest: Cultivating Stillness for Renewal: In this final month of winter, we delve into the profound importance of rest. Our fast-paced world leaves little room for true renewal, but this month you’ll learn to carve out moments of deep relaxation and restoration. We’ll explore diverse ways to rest, beyond simply stopping, and help you give yourself permission to pause and reset.

March – Embracing Change: Finding Growth in Transition: Spring brings transformation, much like the process of menopause. Change opens us to limitless possibilities, yet fear of the unknown can bring up anxiety or frustration. This month, we’ll focus on cultivating a positive mindset and using movement to open energy channels that soothe fear, allowing you to embrace this powerful rebirth.

April – Understanding Anxiety and Overwhelm: Pathways to Peace: Stress can feel amplified during menopause, and anxiety often intensifies. This month, we’ll go deeper into understanding stress, exploring mindfulness practices that gently release feelings of overwhelm. You'll learn practical ways to cultivate peace, helping you face each day with a greater sense of calm and clarity.

May – Lifting Low Mood and Clearing Brain Fog: Enhancing Mental Clarity: Busy minds and fluctuating hormones can create mental fog and low mood, making everyday tasks challenging. This month, we’ll uncover lifestyle adjustments that can bring back mental clarity, helping you feel brighter as we approach the light of summer.

June – Cooling the Inner Fire: Balancing Heat for Harmony: Hot flashes, night sweats, and fiery emotions can feel overwhelming, yet they are also manifestations of your inner power. This month, we’ll reframe that “heat” as a source of strength, exploring techniques to channel it into confidence, clarity, and wisdom as you reclaim your energy with grace.

July – Heart Health: Nurturing the Core of Wellbeing: Self-love and heart health are central to your wellness. This month, we dive into the essentials of cardiovascular health and the importance of nurturing our hearts, physically and emotionally. Through yoga, self-compassion practices, and mindfulness, you’ll build a loving relationship with yourself that supports your heart’s health for years to come.

August – Rediscovering Sexuality: Embracing Libido and Identity Changes: The transition through menopause can bring shifts in libido, self-identity, and sexuality. While this may feel like a private topic, it’s a natural part of the journey to “second spring”—a time of new possibilities and, for many, newfound freedom. This month’s session, recorded for privacy, explores hormonal shifts, pelvic health, and how to embrace these changes with wisdom and grace.

September – Letting Go: What Are You Ready to Release?: In alignment with autumn’s natural cycle of release, this month invites reflection and letting go. Just as trees release their leaves, you’ll be encouraged to shed old patterns and create space for new growth. We’ll work together to address the resistance that sometimes comes with release, allowing for renewal and openness to life’s next gifts.

October – Self-Love and Breast Health: A Journey of Compassion: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a perfect time to focus on breast health and the Anahata (heart) chakra. We’ll practice self-compassion and learn breast health awareness practices, nurturing a relationship with our bodies that encourages us to support our wellness with care.

November – Rest and Digest: The Essential Path to Health: As winter draws near, we’ll slow down and explore the balance between “rest and digest.” This month focuses on the nervous, digestive, and reproductive systems, helping you understand how deeply rest impacts your health. Reconnect with your body’s natural rhythms to support ongoing vitality and healing.

December – Happy Hormones, Happy Holidays: Celebrating with Balance: The holidays can bring joy—and sometimes, excess. This month, we’ll discuss simple ways to maintain your well-being while still enjoying the celebrations. With a focus on balanced indulgence, you’ll feel ready to join in the festivities with practices that nourish body and soul.

January – Moving Forward: Stepping into the Next Chapter: As we complete our year together, this final session is about celebration and reflection. Together, we’ll review the journey, acknowledge your growth, and set intentions for the future. You’ll leave equipped with insights and practices to continue navigating menopause with empowerment and self-acceptance.
