You’ve probably found this course because…
You are passionate about helping women. You know they face everyday challenges and you believe that your yoga practice could make a real difference. You would love to be recognised as a specialist in supporting students with hormonal change and flow.
You’re not sure how to get there, but you know you want to try.
Your heart goes out to your female students and their challenges
It’s heartbreaking when students are tearful, frustrated, self-critical or withdrawn. You know yoga can help them, but your knowledge of hormonal biology is patchy and you worry about making things worse if you get it wrong. You want the confidence of a properly accredited course that will help you make a genuine difference to any clients who have a menstrual cycle who are turning to you in hope and desperation.
You want a clear point of difference to your competitors
Your want to understand and love your own body's power
Your students are not the only people who could benefit from more bodily wisdom. You know that your yoga could be a key to unlocking more peace and power as you go through different life stages yourself. And you feel so much pride when you imagine using your expertise to support the wonderful girls and women in your life, to overcome their hurdles and increase their power and confidence.
“I don’t judge women for the choices they make for their bodies. I judge society for not informing women properly so they can make proper choices.”

Yoga For Hormonal Health – Teacher Training Course
At the End Of This Course You Will
FEEL CONFIDENT
Next time a student discloses vulnerable information about their challenges, you will feel more confident to help them unpick their needs and provide possible pathways to heal their relationship with their body.
No more awkward “it’s probably just my hormones” conversations that don’t go anywhere. You will be able to gently and confidently help them to take small practical steps to bring more balance into their yoga and their life.
BE DISTINCTIVE
There are many reasons a student finds your class, but they almost always stay for one reason – YOU. As the teacher you are not only a provider of spiritual and physical nourishment, your personality and approach provides the flavour and joy in the experience. How you make your clients FEEL about themselves is what they remember and return for.
This course will give you the tools to attract more of the kind of clients who will appreciate your passion and in whose lives you can make the biggest difference.
FEEL INSPIRED
Remember when you first discovered the power of yoga? The endless possibilities of it, the joy of uncovering new ideas.
This course will give you a deep understanding of how to help your clients to unleash and nourish their bodies and spirits in new ways, get in sync with their menstrual cycle and find hormonal health and peace in their own unique skin.
You will learn how to build classes around your students’ individual needs so they feel heard and held. And you will be excited to explore the new directions this could take your business and your own practice.

Isn’t it about time we helped women take control of their own bodies?
As a yoga teacher, you have a privileged position to observe the shifts of strength, energy and emotions your student demonstrate, and you have a special opportunity to help them to see those fluctuations as intentional and powerful, rather than broken or weak.
Understanding and honouring our hormones can enhance our whole life and those of others
On average we experience 462 menstrual cycles during our lifetime, our hormonal health reflects our overall health, and we deserve to understand better. As women understand their bodies more, they share it and knowledge and empowerment then flow through their family and friends. Your yoga practice can activate a circle of ripples that support local women to explore their symptoms, understand their natural cycles, and tentatively move into harmony with their bodies.
Menstrual cycles are ignored or poorly understood by modern society
Our busy world requires women to underplay their bodies’ unique cycles and waves. We force our bodies into schedules and targets, devalue our power and intuition, and medicalise anything that doesn’t fit. We treat symptoms of imbalances but remain ignorant about the underlying causes. This stops us hearing what our bodies need until they are in crisis, and prevents us understanding how powerful we can be when we flow with our cycles rather than against them.
Women are carrying so many negative emotions about their bodies
Every woman who walks into your yoga room is unique and not only physical or hormonally. They will also each have a different connection with (or disconnection from) their body, their own frustrations, joys and vulnerabilities, and their own history of succeeding or failing to live in peace with their body. Many women carry disappointment, frustration or shame about their bodies. Others are more in tune with their bodies and are eager to learn more.
Many of your students will seek and welcome this support with open arms. Some students may not openly ask for help but will quietly and gratefully benefit from your teaching. Other clients will be in a phase of life where they are not looking for these answers, but your classes can still leave breadcrumbs that they can follow when the time is right.
The FLOW course will instruct you how to use your new deeper expertise and skills to ensure that every client is able to absorb the insight that they need right now, at the dose that they need it.
“Each individual woman’s body demands to be accepted on its own terms.”

Frequently Asked Questions
How experienced do I need to be?
This course is open to qualified yoga teachers wanting to develop their expertise to support the women they teach; upon completion, they will receive a teaching certificate to forward to any yoga body they are affiliated with or insurance companies.
We can also consider experienced yoga students who want to deepen their own knowledge and practice, these students must consult with Kelsey Taylor before enrolling and will not receive a teaching certificate as they are not qualified to share this knowledge with others. Email Kelsey at hello@flowwomenswellness.com if you have any queries.
Can this course be included in my CPD hours?
I can only see limited dates – How do I know this will suit me?
Kelsey wants to make this course accessible and is happy to work in small groups. Please contact Kelsey directly with dates suggestions hello@flowwomenswellness.com
All 30 hours of LIVE training must be attended, and 20 hours of self-paced learning completed for the accreditation to be awarded.
Are there practical sequences I can take away and use?
We provide you with a teacher’s toolkit consisting of asanas, bandhas, mudras, pranayama, and meditations that you can use to create your own sequences as your confidence increases. There are also additional sequences for reproductive health disorders such as PCOS and endometriosis which affect 1 in 10 women.
We provide breathing/meditation practices for life stages such as pregnancy and postnatal, as an introduction to these specialist areas.
Can I use the information within this course with women of all ages?
This course is designed to introduce each of the stages of the hormonal lifecycle and therefore provides you will the knowledge and skills to work with women of all ages within the guideline of information and practices provided within the training. This course is NOT a detailed course into life phases that we feel requires further/specialised training such as pregnancy, children and post-natal.
We can help you find other training providers for these courses as Kelsey has personally undertaken these courses with some amazing teachers.
What do you mean by women? Can it be used for trans clients?
We use the term “women” throughout our training to describe the female physical biology and sex hormones that this course offers support for. We acknowledge that not everyone that was born into a female physical body with female sex hormones identifies as a woman/female.
This training is suitable to use with clients that experience natural female sex hormones and a menstrual cycle and wants to know more about these hormonal fluctuations in the female body.
We are not yet at a stage in our understanding to support those taking medically prescribe hormones. We will be happy to collaborate in the future with individuals who have relevant qualifications as our own knowledge and competence develops, please feel free to email us at hello@flowwomenswellness.com if you would like to discuss this further.
How can I stay up to date afterwards?
We are keen to continue to grow our teaching community to provide up-to-date and relevant information to all our FLOW graduates. We will provide the opportunity to complete further CPDs and other training that you may feel relevant to your own teaching. We are currently developing further training to enhance graduates’ knowledge and are keen to work with graduates that specialise in relevant topics related to women’s health, yoga, and wellness that other teachers would also benefit from.
Is there accommodation available for the in-person teacher training?
The in-person course in Lichfield is a non-residential course but there is a limited number of single and double room on-site accommodation available for the duration of the course which costs between £30-£50 per night. The cost of a double can be shared by 2 individuals if they wanted to share. Rooms are bookable via hello@flowwomenswellness.com. Booking is on a first come, first served basis.
Are the assignments mandatory?
Yes. If you wish to share this knowledge as a yoga teacher with your students and to be professionally insured, then all training dates must be attended, and assignments completed within given timeframes and successfully passed. A teaching certificate will be provided to all graduates who cover all course requirements for them to forward to their insurance company and any professional organisations they are registered with.
Will I be able to use this in my marketing?
Yes. Upon successfully completing your training you will be provided with any relevant information regarding marketing, the graduate’s directory, and copyright guidelines on using FLOW training material.
